Hi, I’m Sidney!
Born only miles from the Ocean, I’ve always lived close with nature. Even from a young age, I can remember driving down the coast with my Dad, stopping by the side of the road to pick wildflowers and bringing them home to my Mom. After leaving the beaches of Southern California for the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, I realized flowers are everywhere and constant, and each day I’m inspired more and more to channel their beauty.
Combined with my life experiences, as well as time working in floral shops, freelancing for other florists, and a bachelor’s degree in Art and Design, I am happy to share with you: Bleu Floral!

Where does the name ‘Bleu Floral’ come from?
Bleu and I became inseparable shortly after we were born. Growing up across the street, Bleu and I would talk on the phone for hours, looking out our windows and plotting the mischief we would get into that day. In our high school years, most of our time spent together was in nature: riding bikes to the beach, having picnics in fields, watching the sunset at beach cliffs, or picking flowers at our favorite look out spots. Bleu was an example to me of how to live each day to the fullest through constantly spreading joy and being one with nature.
Bleu suffered from Cystic Fibrosis— a lifelong disease— until she finally passed away peacefully on September 24th, 2020. Bleu Floral is dedicated to my best friend in the whole wide world, Bleu.
