Hi, I’m Sidney!

Born just miles from the ocean, I have always lived closely with nature. From a young age, I remember driving along the coast with my dad, pulling over to gather wildflowers and bringing them home for my mom. Now as I grow my own roots in Southern California, I am still deeply connected to the beaches and landscapes that first shaped me. Flowers are everywhere—constant and enduring—and each day I am is inspired to channel their beauty.

Where does the name ‘Bleu Floral’ come from?

Bleu and me became inseparable shortly after we were born. Growing up across the street from each other, we spent hours talking on the phone, gazing out our windows and plotting the mischief we would get into that day. By our high school years, much of our time together was spent in nature—riding bikes to the beach, picnicking in open fields, watching sunsets from beach cliffs, and picking flowers at our favorite lookout spots. Bleu showed me how to live each day to the fullest, spreading joy and moving through the world in deep connection with nature.

Bleu suffered from Cystic Fibrosis— a lifelong disease— until she finally passed away peacefully on September 24th, 2020. Bleu Floral is dedicated to my best friend in the whole wide world, Bleu.
